HOM DAILY DEVOTIONAL

Topic: The lesson learned from numbering my days. (Special birthday edition)

Happy blessed birthday to you Abiola, God's got you.

Herald of Maranatha:

Fresh From God
Topic: The lesson learned from numbering my days. (Special birthday edition)
 Ps 108‐110  (Daily bible reading)

Text of focus: Psalm 90:12 KJV

So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom.

I was with my uncle a few months ago in Canada, and his wife asked me, "What are your plans?"
I instantly replied, "My plans are simple, get a business running for income and go fully into preaching the kingdom of God".
She said it's like you really love being a Pastor.

It's more than loving being a Pastor, it's being earth-smart and heaven-wise.

There are two major points in life. These are the point of beginning and the point of the end, which is also the beginning of a new.
What wisdom do you apply your heart unto as you number your days?
A lot are very much concerned about several earthly achievements and the mundane they haven't been able to gather as their life passes by.

In as much as it is a pleasant thing to acquire so much in this life, you need to remember they all stay at this side of life. As you grow older you need to think of how much you have invested towards eternity and the kingdom of God.

These are the priorities of the wise-hearted.

Mark 8:36 KJV
For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?

But you can gain in this world and keep your soul, by gaining in heaven.

As you prioritize every investment that gives you good income, be likewise dedicated to the one that saves your soul and gives you an inheritance with the saints.
Invest into souls and be a channel of blessings to your generation. Win as many as possible to the kingdom of God.

This is the surest investment, whose reward you can never lose.

Number your days today and begin to apply your heart to wisdom.

Proverbs 11:30 KJV
The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; and he that winneth souls is wise.

Resolve in your heart today to begin something specific that would count for you in God's record in heaven. Give in to conscious soul-winning.
