Topic: Sela-hammahlekoth (Day 104)
1 Sam 21‐24 (Daily bible reading)
Text of focus: 1 Samuel 23:27-28 KJV
But there came a messenger unto Saul, saying, Haste thee, and come; for the Philistines have invaded the land. [28] Wherefore Saul returned from pursuing after David, and went against the Philistines: therefore they called that place Sela-hammahlekoth.
Sela-hammahlekoth, means a stone of separation, it indicates the end of the old and the beginning of the new.
Saul left his primary purpose of leading his nation and was busy chasing after David and the Philistines invaded his kingdom. But when he saw a greater problem, he returned from following after David.
Have you been under the attack of the enemy for so long?
Has your enemy been chasing you tirelessly?
Every enemy chasing after you only need a greater problem.
The Lord will bring a greater problem into the life of your enemies and they will get too busy to chase after you again.
The Lord will put a stone of Separation between you and your enemy in Jesus' name.

Summary
In the chapters read today (1 Sam 21‐24 ), we saw how Saul started seeking to kill David in the wilderness and the Philistines invaded his land. David also spared Saul's life, he refused to touch God's anointed.
