Herald of Maranatha:
Fresh From God
Topic: My tour guide (Day 116)
Ps 73, Ps 77‐78 (Daily bible reading)
Text of focus: Psalm 73:24-25 KJV
Thou shalt guide me with thy counsel, and afterward receive me to glory. [25] Whom have I in heaven but thee ? and there is none upon earth that I desire beside thee.
Tourists, while visiting their tour location, usually engage the service of a tour guide.
The tour guide is responsible for taking them through the vital parts of the location. The tour guide has a good knowledge of the location, so he explains key facts to them while on their tour.
In like manner God is our tour guide in this world, without Him, we will miss the vital parts of life, and life will be uninteresting to us. This is the reason why many people suffer depression and suicide, in the absence of the tour guide, God.
More so God is not only our tour guide, He will also lead us to our final destination after our tour here on earth.
Ephesians 4:30 KJV
And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.
He is our seal unto the day of redemption, why not invite Him to your life's tour, your life could be more meaningful.
