Text of focus: Deuteronomy 1:21 KJV
Topic: Remember your God (Day 71)
Deuteronomy 4:23-24 KJV
Take heed unto yourselves, lest ye forget the covenant of the Lord your God, which he made with you, and make you a graven image, or the likeness of any thing, which the Lord thy God hath forbidden thee. [24] For the Lord thy God is a consuming fire, even a jealous God.
Summary
In the chapters read today (Num 34 - 36), we learned about the preview of all that had happened to Israel and how God brought them to the side of Jordan by the red sea, and how the Lord vowed unto the unbelieving generation not to enter into the promised land. After they had compassed the mountain for too long, the Lord instructed them to go northward. God told them the lands He has not given them to possess and He told them to go up to possess the lands He has given them. This is an indicator of our part in possessing our possessions by the word of God.
Question
What about lost opportunities can they be regained?
● Oh Lord, I commit my ways unto you, prosper it in Jesus' name.
● Oh Lord let your kingdom come and your will be done on earth in Jesus' name.
