Herald of Maranatha:
Fresh From God
Topic: Being more intentional with God (Day 88)
Joshua 22 - 24 (Daily bible reading)
Text of focus: Joshua 24:15 KJV
And if it seem evil unto you to serve the Lord, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.
It is important for you to appraise your walk with God from time to time, don't be a wolf in sheep clothing. Joshua asked the children of Israel to decide whom to serve and that he would serve God with his house.
Many people indeed have taken it to be evil to serve God, so they chose to disbelieve the existence of God, others chose the other gods that allow them to enjoy their sins.
Sins are pleasurable to the flesh and dangerous to the soul, so the flesh resists the laws of God.
To live a God-led lifestyle requires the power of godliness and holiness. This power helps us to be able to abstain from sins, without feeling the impact.
1 John 5:3 KJV
For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.
You need to be more intentional about your walk with God, surrendering to do His will daily. Love God and your fellow men more intentionally. Let your daily life reflect the love of God to others.
Take your daily inventory and observe your life.
Glorify God in your spirit, soul, and body.
