Herald of Maranatha:
Lev 5 to 7 (Daily bible reading)
Text of focus: Leviticus 6:12-13 KJV
And the fire upon the altar shall be burning in it; it shall not be put out: and the priest shall burn wood on it every morning, and lay the burnt offering in order upon it; and he shall burn thereon the fat of the peace offerings. [13] The fire shall ever be burning upon the altar; it shall never go out.
From today's text of focus you could see God's instruction regarding the altar, He said "the fire shall ever be burning upon the altar; it shall never go out." That was an order from God. How does this affect you today?
The fire on your altar must not go out, you must not be hot today and cold tomorrow.
Why must the fire not go out?
When the fire goes out, it is left with ashes, and ashes attracted fowls, which signifies unclean spirits. When the fire is consistently burning you will carry the live presence of God everywhere you go.
How do you keep the fire burning?
The wood to be supplied every morning according to our text is the word of God and prayers.
The fire on your altar must keep burning, it is not optional.
If your fire is out, you're in a dangerous mode, the enemy can strike easily.
Summary
In the chapters read today (Lev 5 to 7), we learned about how God gave clear instructions concerning various sacrifices to be offered. God described how the process should be. When we see all these we can reflect and thank God for Jesus, hallelujah.
Question
How do I maintain the fire?

● Oh Lord, I commit my ways unto you, prosper it in Jesus' name.
● Oh Lord let your kingdom come and your will be done on earth in Jesus' name.
