Herald of Maranatha:
Text of focus: Numbers 1:45-46 KJV
So were all those that were numbered of the children of Israel, by the house of their fathers, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war in Israel; [46] Even all they that were numbered were six hundred thousand and three thousand and five hundred and fifty.
The focus text brings a reflection of0 the fulfillment of a covenant.
The Lord has a way of working out His promises to bring them to pass. God is awesome, he called Abraham alone and now we have this great multitude. They numbered to be 603,550 men above 20 years who can go to war, this excludes children, women, and the Levites. Some analyses said their entire population should be about 2 million.
God is a covenant keeper, He promised to multiply the seed of Abraham and he did so.
What has God promised you, that is already looking delayed?
Trust still in God and He will bring it to pass, He is too faithful to fail you.
God will never promise what He cannot do because what He cannot do does not exist.
Summary
In the chapters read today (Num 1 to 2), we learned about how God instructed Moses to number children of Israel, only men that were qualified.
Question
What do I do while waiting on God?
● Oh Lord, I commit my ways unto you, prosper it in Jesus' name.
● Oh Lord let your kingdom come and your will be done on earth in Jesus' name.
