Exod 7 to 9  (Daily bible reading)

Text of focus: Exodus 7:1 KJV

And the Lord said unto Moses, See, I have made thee a god to Pharaoh: and Aaron thy brother shall be thy prophet.

The focus text today helps us to continue reflecting on the topic of knowing God.

God had just revealed Himself to Moses in a different dimension from what his fathers knew. Now Moses again became the first man God will permit to sit in the position of a god. Men have experienced God in diverse ways.

We also realized that many fathers of faith in our generation manifested in various capacities of grace, indicating the dimension of God revealed unto them.

Smith Wigglesworth manifested unusual faith.

Babalola manifested unusual miracles and revival.

John G. Lake manifested unusual healing.

This makes us understand that no man has explored all possible dimensions of God's manifestation. 

Job 28:7-8 KJV

There is a path which no fowl knoweth, and which the vulture's eye hath not seen: [8] The lion's whelps have not trodden it, nor the fierce lion passed by it.

There are depths yet to be explored, heights yet unreached which are open to everyone. This is the time to seek the Lord to make us relevant in this end-time revival.

Summary 

In the chapters read today (Exodus 4 to 6 ), we learned about how the Egyptians increased the tasks and hard labor of the people of Israel and God responded with plagues in the land of Egypt. We saw miracles versus magic, every miracle Moses performed was counterfeited by the magicians until they saw the finger of God and they surrendered. it was funny the magicians also got boils and couldn’t come out to see Moses again (Exodus 9:11). No one battles with the Lord and wins. These plagues are a sample of what the end-time judgment of God upon the world shall be like.
