Gen 41 to 42 (Daily bible reading)
Text of focus: Genesis 41:40-41 KJV
Thou shalt be over my house, and according unto thy word shall all my people be ruled: only in the throne will I be greater than thou. [41] And Pharaoh said unto Joseph, See, I have set thee over all the land of Egypt.
Joseph had a dream, and his brethren hated him, they did every wicked thing to stop his dream from manifesting. He was sold into slavery. So he got to Egypt as a slave boy, later imprisoned, but God was with him.
Humanly thinking, it looks like he was going farther from the fulfillment of his dreams, but God miraculously brought his dreams to manifestation in a servitude.
God can do anything He pleases, God simply made Joseph the greatest man in Egypt. What God cannot do, does not exist!
Pharaoh created a position previously not existing for Joseph.
Joseph was greater than Pharaoh because he was given every authority, except the throne of Pharaoh. What is the essence of the throne without authority?
Hold on to God's promises, God is able to:
● Create a place for you at the top.
● Furnish a table in the wilderness.
● Grant your heart's desires
● Bring your most impossible dreams to fulfillment.
Do not give up on God, your dreams will come true, as you remain faithful to God.
There is a place for you at the top, be faithful to God on your way there.
Summary
In the chapters read today (Gen 41 to 42), we learned about how Joseph was later remembered from the palace, he interpreted Pharaoh's dream and he immediately became the greatest leader in Egypt. He was given an authority higher than Pharaoh's, except for Pharaoh's throne. God can wake a man up from prison in the morning and make him rule in the palace in the evening of the same day!
He has done it before, and he would do it again.
