Herald of Maranatha:
Job 17‐20 (Daily bible reading)
Text of focus: Job 17:9 KJV
The righteous also shall hold on his way, and he that hath clean hands shall be stronger and stronger.
The focus text of today's chapters is addressing the subject of consistency in righteousness.
Sometimes you might feel the unrighteous are prospering in their ways and the righteous are
struggling. Today's text focus is a hope for the righteous, to keep on consistently with God and they will keep getting stronger. May the Lord increase your strength as you look up to Him.
All things are yours for you are Christ's and He is your portion.
Have you lost some opportunities because you will not yield to sin?
That wasn't an opportunity, it was a snare, your blessing is on the way.
Prov 10:28 (KJV)
The hope of the righteous shall be gladness: but the expectation of the wicked shall perish.
As the hand of God lifts you up this year, you will be amazed at the speed with which your promotion will come.
Prov 23:18 (KJV)
For surely there is an end; and thine expectation shall not be cut off.
It is certain that your expectations shall not be cut off, hold on to God.
Summary
The chapters read today (Job 17 to 20), addressed some of the comments of Job's friends that came to console him and Job's response to them. They want to force Job into accepting that he was a sinner. They were clueless about the cause of his calamity, they wanted to justify God by condemning Job. They confidently boasted in their wisdom and they were certain that Job had sinned. We need to be very careful not to sin against God by our perception of others.
God is just, irrespective, we don't have to condemn others to justify God.
Again, there are many things we do not understand, let's rather keep quiet about them.
James 3:2 KJV
For in many things we offend all. If any man offend not in word, the same is a perfect man, and able also to bridle the whole body.
God has not called us to judge and condemn others.

● Oh Lord, I commit my ways unto you, prosper it in Jesus' name.
● Oh Lord let your kingdom come and your will be done on earth in Jesus' name.
