Herald of Maranatha:
Job 6‐9 (Daily bible reading)
Job 9:4 KJV (Text)
He is wise in heart, and mighty in strength: who hath hardened himself against him, and hath prospered?
Focus
Have you made some plans for the year?
Great, if you haven't, you need to do so. If you have made your plans, did you consider God in your plans?
Does it align with God's agender for you? If not, you might be in contention with God.
Do not harden your heart against God. No one can fight God and win. I don't know the present situation that surrounds you at the moment, consider this strongly that the counsel of God stands above all. If you want to succeed, plan according to God's counsel.
You might have gotten everything well figured out, and you may have good structure and plan to work things out this year, it is not sustainable without God.
God is sovereign over all the earth so if you must get things to work perfectly for you , you must acknowledge him in all your ways.
Proverbs 3:5-7 KJV
Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. [6] In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. [7] Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the Lord, and depart from evil.
In as much as planning is a key to fulfillment, you don't have to glory in it, rather put your trust in God.
Jeremiah 9:23-24 KJV
Thus saith the Lord, Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, neither let the mighty man glory in his might, let not the rich man glory in his riches: [24] But let him that glorieth glory in this, that he understandeth and knoweth me, that I am the Lord which exercise lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness, in the earth: for in these things I delight, saith the Lord.
It is God that teaches our hands to prosper, nothing prosper without God's permission.
Re-evaluate your plans to align it with God's will, be at peace with God and prosper.
Summary
The chapters read today (Job 6 to 9), addressed some of the comments of Job's friends that came to console him and Job's response to them. In as much as they wanted to console Job, they were clueless about the cause of his calamity, they wanted to justify God by condemning Job.
God is just, irrespective, we don't have to condemn others to justify God.
Again, there are many things we do not understand, let's rather keep quiet about them.
James 3:2 KJV
For in many things we offend all. If any man offend not in word, the same is a perfect man, and able also to bridle the whole body.
God has not called us to judge and condemn others.
Question
Why do the ungodly prosper, if there's no God in their plans?
please leave your views in the comment section.
● Oh Lord, I commit my ways unto you, prosper it in Jesus' name.
● Oh Lord let your kingdom come and your will be done on earth in Jesus' name.
