I was in a counseling session with a young man, and he asked this question; "I have prayed over this matter and I didn't hear any response from God, what else can I do?"

I realized that is a question in the mind of millions of Christians all over the world. There are times when it seems God is not answering our prayers or we couldn't just hear Him, it could be so frustrating to keep praying and not receiving an answer.

I told the young man, to keep praying, but seems I haven't gotten a satisfactory answer for him, he felt so unsettled with my answer. I kept wondering if there was a better answer other than to keep praying and waiting on God. Well, I will assume you have first understood how God speaks to you and how to discern His voice, then if it looks like He hasn't spoken, you might have to wait on Him.

If you were to meet with an earthly president, mayor, or Governor, and you were asked to wait for him, you won’t mind if the waiting takes the entire day.

Why?

A lot of people are waiting to get an appointment to see the president, but you have gotten the appointment and you are just in the waiting room, then it feels even joyful to be in that waiting room.

How do you get the appointment with God, before getting to His waiting room?

While we wait for God's response it is important to keep praying and not give up, this will surely make our answers come faster. The case of Daniel was a good example, had he given up praying he might not have gotten the answer to his prayer. But Daniel kept praying and his prayer caused victory in the spirit realm for him.
