Matthew 16:19 KJV
And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.
Transforming your world requires the power of God. When God wanted to transform the land, using Jeremiah, He first empowered him.
Jeremiah 1:10 KJV
See, I have this day set thee over the nations and over the kingdoms, to root out, and to pull down, and to destroy, and to throw down, to build, and to plant.
This is an authority to function, influence, and transform the land, given by God.
In like manner, the keys of the kingdom are vital for exploits. Jesus promised to give the keys of the kingdom so that we can exercise God's authority here on earth. The Apostles and the early Christians demonstrated it.
Men have turned nations upside-down with these keys.
~Moses divides the red sea.
~Joshua
spoke to the sun and it stood still.
~Elijah
Spoke and heaven seized rain.
The heavens heard his voice again and gave rain.
~Jonah
Nineveh heard his voice and began to look for God - He was the first and only man to organize a prayer conference where even newborn babies participated in the fasting.

He never raised anyone back to life, but he raised a dead nation back to life.

These were men of like passion as we are, but they changed their world, they didn't have attention fixed on the mundane, they sought and found God.
God is still the same, working wonders as of old, we only need the missing keys. Serve God as the people of old.
Life application
There is something common in the lives of these people, PRAYER and THE WORD. Make a decision to change your world for Christ. Soak yourself into the word of God and prayers. Dare to pray more than you have always done.
● We turn to you in full repentance, to seek you with our whole heart, have mercy on us oh Lord.
● Oh Lord, use me to change my world.
• Oh Lord I receive the keys of the kingdom this year.
● I promise to honour, fear, regard, and reverence you above all.
● Oh Lord, I need your presence, show me your glory.
● Take pride away from me oh Lord, I receive the grace to be humble before you.
