Topic: Pleasing who you do not know(Discipleship, waiting room)

Philippians 2:12-13 KJV

Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. [13] For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.

How do we please the one you do not know?

It's not possible, hence the sinners and ungodly are not expected to please God by their lifestyles, but first by repentance. Repentance happens when Jesus is being introduced. 

The purpose our creation is to please Him who created us and that's what guarantees our safety. Everyone who must please his creator must first be repentant. 

Pleasing God is a mandate for every child of God, that's why we live daily by faith.

Hebrews 11:6 KJV

But without faith it is impossible to please him : for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

Pleasing God and knowing God works together, the more you know Him the higher your tendencies to please Him. He is the only one who can teach you to please Him.

Receive inspiration in Jesus name!

Who will help me please God, who knows His mind?

1 Corinthians 2:11 KJV

For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.

The Holy Spirit does the job in us. Depend on Him, listen to Him, even through the scriptures. 

Apostle Paul desiring to please God with his entire life prayed:

"That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death;" (Philippians 3:10 KJV)

Get that understanding,  if we must please God we need to know Him more.

 Guess what! 

You can't know all of God, hence we dare to know Him more daily, and please Him more as we learn more of His ways.🙂

That's the reason Jesus said we have to live by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God. (Matt 4:4)

Nothing greater than knowing God, pleasing Him and being satisfied in this life and hereafter. 

The power to will and to do the good pleasure of God, lies in God and it's being used by God to generate His good works in us. You are not in charge of this power but God is, so release yourself to Him and trust Him daily to make you please Him.

Start a new relationship  with  the Holy Spirit today, engage Him in all you do. Let Him teach you how to please God. Dare to listen to Him, even through the scriptures daily.

Prayer 🙏

● we turn to you in full repentance, to seek you with our whole heart, have mercy on us oh Lord.

● Oh Lord Jesus,  help me to please you completely. 

● Lord Jesus, give me the power will and do your pleasure.

● O Lord hold my right hand to teach me your ways, let nations be subdued before me and every mountain leveled.  

  ● Oh Lord preserve your blessings over me, may no evil come near me in Jesus name.

● Oh Lord, we ask for your mercy over the nations of the earth, remember mercy oh Lord.

● Pray for the preservation of the health workers.

● Pray for those affected all over the world.

● We bring China🇨🇳, Italy🇮🇪, United Kingdom🇬🇧, United States,🇱🇷 Iran🇮🇳, UAE🇦🇪, Canada🇨🇦, Nigeria🇳🇬, Ukraine🇺🇦 and all the countries affected before you, let your healing power flow through the nations in Jesus name.
