Topic: The certain Pre-Rapture events (Discipleship, Eschatology)
Matthew 24:32-33 KJV
Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh: [33] So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.
Jesus, in Matthew 24: 1-14, specifically listed the things that must precede the Rapture as follows:
● Deception (verses 5 ,11)
● Wars (verses 6,7)
● Famine (verse 7)
● Pestilences ( verse 7)
● Earthquakes (Verse 7)
● Sorrows (verse 8)
● Persecution of Christians (verse 9)
● Worldwide hatred Christians (verse 9)
● Betrayal (verse 10)
● Abundance of iniquity (verse 12)
● Cold love for God (verse 12)
● Gospel spreading into every nation (verse 14)
These are the twelve major occurrences Jesus mentioned that will happen before the end. We've read about the first four. We'll through the others briefly.
Matthew 24:7 KJV
For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.
Earthquakes - this symbolizes several natural disasters. [¹]There have been so many earthquakes in 2020 that if I sat to categorise each as a natural disaster the list would be unnaturally long. So far there have been 45 earthquakes characterised over 6 magnitudes. Jamaica and Russia were the worst hit with earthquakes over magnitude 7. The earthquake in Turkey claimed 41 lives.
Cyclone in India and Bangladesh, Forest fire in Australia and India and many more disasters just in 2020.
Sorrow - of course all these has increased sorrow Wordwide. People loosing their loved ones, homes businesses etc.
Persecution - believers are face more intense persecution all over the world. Televised murder of Christian and many other inhumane activities.
Wordwide Hatred for Christians - Christians are either openly or diplomatically hated all over the world. There been persecuted daily and no law preserve them, but rather their chief persecutors are preserved.
Betrayal - people betray one another now like there's no conscience in them.
Abundance of iniquity - sin is gaining more ground, so things that were regarded extremely sinful some time ago are now legally normalized. Man can now marry man, you can marry an animal, etc
Cold love for God - the church is getting cold, many Christians are compromising and the ungodly activities of the world dictates a model for many churches. Many believers have lost integrity because iniquity is in abundance. They've stylishly gone back to their vomit, when it suddenly looks like vomit is a new general diet.
I will leave the last point to be discussed extensively in the next write up.
Remember, everything Jesus listed has been fulfilled and the Rapture can take place at any moment from now, watch out. It is high time we began to replace priorities right.
Watch daily, be prepared, you can turn down God's mercies and warnings, but not His Judgement. If you miss heaven you can't miss hell.

All these are the beginning of sorrows.
Matthew 24:9 KJV
Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake.

Search your heart and deal with every matter that could hinder you now. Live each day as if it's the last. Be practically expecting the coming of Christ. Remember anything that is not preparing you to make heaven, is preparing you to miss it. Be prepared.

● we turn to you in full repentance, to seek you with our whole heart, have mercy on us oh Lord.
● Oh Lord Jesus help to be constantly prepared for your return.
● Lord Jesus, I receive the grace to be steadfast in you.
● Lord Jesus, the grace to practice your kingdom daily.
