1 Samuel 4:5 KJV
And when the ark of the covenant of the Lord came into the camp, all Israel shouted with a great shout, so that the earth rang again.
As great as the deeds of faith could be, there are times when some application of faith is useless.
From our text above, the Israelites just exhibited a great deal of faith, by celebrating an anticipated victory, just after a very huge defeat, just because they now have the Ark of covenant with them. But if you study the passage further you realize their faith never worked for them. They got a worse defeat than the previous one.
Faith is totally useless when you refuse the knowledge of truth.
Faith is Useless when you are disobedient to God.
Faith is useless when you're living in sin.
How many times have you felt disappointed in your faith when you applied it and never got result?
Have we searched inward to see if we're still disobedient to the truth.
You can't deliberately disobey God in some aspects of your life and claim you have faith for miracles in other aspects of your life.
Faith is a way of pleasing God, so having faith is to obey the word of God.
It takes faith to please God, so pleasing God a major attribute of a holy faith in God.
The first thing a sinner receives from God by faith is salvation, other prior benefits were rather by grace and not by faith, a disobedient child is not living by faith.
Proverbs 28:9 KJV
He that turneth away his ear from hearing the law, even his prayer shall be abomination.
Romans 10:10,16-17 KJV
For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. [16] But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Esaias saith, Lord, who hath believed our report? [17] So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
Faith God brings salvation from sin.
Drop the useless faith and embrace the holy faith.

Life application
Search your life carefully and be sure you're not deliberately living in disobedience to God or ignoring the truth. Deal with every inner guilt of sin before God, then move with faith again and you will see great miracles through Christ.
Endeavor to always apply faith everything you do. Consciously depend more on God . Decide to live daily by the word of God. Put God first in all your considerations, and dare to obey Him always.
Deliberately engage faith in possessing everything you need for perfection in Christ Jesus. Build yourself up in faith. Desire to make living by faith a lifestyle.
Prayer 🙏
● we turn to you in full repentance, to seek you with our whole heart, have mercy on us oh Lord.
● Oh Lord forgive all my disobedience to your word, help me rise in faith again in Jesus name.
● Lord I receive the grace to live by faith daily and to overcome every trial.
● Lord Jesus, I arise in faith to possess my possessions.
● Oh Lord I need your presence, show me your glory.
● Oh Lord, we ask for your mercy over the nations of the earth, remember mercy oh Lord.
● Pray for the preservation of the health workers.
● Pray for those affected all over the world.
● We bring China🇨🇳, Italy🇮🇪, United Kingdom🇬🇧, United States,🇱🇷 Iran🇮🇳, UAE🇦🇪, Canada🇨🇦, Nigeria🇳🇬, Ukraine🇺🇦 and all the countries affected before you, let your healing power flow through the nations in Jesus name.
