1 Corinthians 12:28 KJV
And God hath set some in the church, first apostles, secondarily prophets, thirdly teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, diversities of tongues.
Here are the list of some ministries as commonly seen and desired by many Christians.
There's a very sensitive ministry that has been forgotten by many, or should I say it's the least desired by many. This is the "Help ministry".
A lot of people spend time praying to become an Apostle, Prophet, Teacher, Miracle worker, Healing minister, tongues interpreter etc. But how many people pray to a helper?
Unfortunately this ministry is the essence of living, God made it so. When God was to complete the creation work on humanity, He made the woman and called her a help meet for the man.
Genesis 2:18 KJV
And the Lord God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him.
Help ministry is the most essential part of life. As the purpose of man in life is to get to heaven and to help as many as possible to get there.
Any help you're in the position to render, is that power God has given you to contribute to the life of the person.
You don't help because you already have enough, you help because you understand what it means to be in need.

The lockdown has kept many people at home hungry, show a little care to your neighbors. Remember those old people around you reach out to them with compassion.

Prayer 🙏: Lord we turn to you in full repentance, to seek you with our whole heart, I choose to help others, help me oh Lord.
