Topic: Would you rather have Him?
Exodus 33:18 KJV
And he said, I beseech thee, shew me thy glory.
In the midst the trouble and confusion in the present world people are obviously filled with different desires and aspirations. People's needs are varying even as their personalities.
So I ask:
If you have the chance to make just a request before God what would you ask?
Think about it for a moment. Ok
Now examine your request, will it suffice your entire life?
Let's learn from someone who had been with God a lot of times and also had this same opportunity at a particular time.
He had the opportunity of speaking with God face to face.
Exodus 33:11 KJV
And the Lord spake unto Moses face to face, as a man speaketh unto his friend. And he turned again into the camp: but his servant Joshua, the son of Nun, a young man, departed not out of the tabernacle.
He made several requests,
To know God's way and to know God more.
Exodus 33:13 KJV
Now therefore, I pray thee, if I have found grace in thy sight, shew me now thy way, that I may know thee, that I may find grace in thy sight: and consider that this nation is thy people.
Most importantly he made the most significant request.
He requested for God's presence and glory.
This is surely sounding like a boring request to some people, but it's indeed the best gift anyone could ever ask.
The presence of God is everything to a believer. If you have someone's presence, you have all what he can access.
If you have God's presence, you'll have all what God can access.
So now, do you want some stuffs from God or would you rather have Him?
I'd rather have Jesus than silver or gold I'd rather be his than have riches untold
I'd rather have Jesus than houses or land
Yes I'd rather be led by his nail pierced hands
Than to be the king of a best domain and beheld in sins dread sway
I'd rather have Jesus than anything this world affords today

I'd rather have Jesus than worldly applause I'd rather be faithful to his dear cause

Life application
You might need to spend some time seeking the face of God, and desire His presence like never before. We need Jesus now more than ever.
Prayer 🙏:
● we turn to you in full repentance, to seek you with our whole heart, have mercy on us oh Lord.
● Oh Lord I need your presence, show me your glory.
● Oh Lord, we ask for your mercy over the nations of the earth, remember mercy oh Lord.
● Pray for the preservation of the health workers.
● Pray for those affected all over the world, Boris Johnson for healing from the ICU.
● We bring China🇨🇳, Italy🇮🇪, United Kingdom🇬🇧, United States,🇱🇷 Iran🇮🇳, UAE🇦🇪, Canada🇨🇦, Nigeria🇳🇬, Ukraine🇺🇦 and all the countries affected before you, let your healing power flow through the nations in Jesus name.
