Herald of Maranatha:
Fresh From God
Topic:I'm deeply in love, how do I express myself?
(Single's Diary)
2 Samuel 13:1-2 KJV(Single's Diary)
And it came to pass after this, that Absalom the son of David had a fair sister, whose name was Tamar; and Amnon the son of David loved her. [2] And Amnon was so vexed, that he fell sick for his sister Tamar; for she was a virgin; and Amnon thought it hard for him to do any thing to her.
"I love this guy so much, but I don't know how to express it, should I give him my body?"
Expression of love is a thing of serious concern, especially among our young ones these days. Core values of life are been downtrodden, virginity of a maid no longer means decency, rather it's regarded as lack of exposure. The decent people are no longer celebrated, the indecent people are now boastful and proud of their loose lifestyle.
Is there anything wrong in falling in love?
Love is an emotion, humans are emotional, God made us so. We can fall in love, even as Christians, but we do not express love like the world do.
The love that is godly comes in a godly order, love for the soul more than love for the body.
If you love the soul, you don't want to ruin him/her and yourself in hell by giving him/her your body.
The love that is genuine is that one for the soul.
Do not give him/her your body as a prove of your love.
Jesus already gave Himself, that our souls may be saved. Your body belongs to Jesus, we owe Him our entire lives.
1 Corinthians 6:20 KJV
For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.
Part 2
Life application
Giving your body over for immorality is not a prove of love.
You owe God your body, be pure for Him.
Prayer 🙏: Lord Jesus help me to preserve my body holy and acceptable unto you in Jesus name.
