Acts 22:10-11 KJV
And I said, What shall I do, Lord? And the Lord said unto me, Arise, and go into Damascus; and there it shall be told thee of all things which are appointed for thee to do. [11] And when I could not see for the glory of that light, being led by the hand of them that were with me, I came into Damascus.
Purpose is the reason for an action, so for every deliberate action there has to be a purpose.
Are you still unsaved?
If yes, Have you considered the reason why were created?
1 Thessalonians 5:9 KJV
For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ,
He didn't create you to exercise how much sinners can burn in hell, but to obtain salvation.
Revelation 4:11 KJV
Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.
You are created for His pleasure, the first step of pleasing Him is salvation through FAITH in Jesus
Have you been saved from sin into the kingdom of our dear Lord?
If yes, that action of your salvation wasn't accidental but deliberate, then if deliberate it was for a purpose.
Are you fulfilling the purpose for which you were saved?
See what Apostle Paul said after discovering and fulfilling the purpose of his calling:
Philippians 3:12 KJV
"Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus."
He kept on desiring the fulfillment of that purpose till his death. He wasn't counting achievements he was rather counting the tasks ahead.
Life application
Make a self appraisal and answer the questions.
Am I saved?
Am I fulfilling the purpose of God on earth?
Am I fulfilling the purpose for which I've been saved?
2 Corinthians 5:18 KJV
And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;
