Topic: A Certain Disciple

(Apostolic Revival)
Acts 22:12-13,16 KJV
And one Ananias, a devout man according to the law, having a good report of all the Jews which dwelt there, [13] Came unto me, and stood, and said unto me, Brother Saul, receive thy sight. And the same hour I looked up upon him. [16] And now why tarriest thou? arise, and be baptized, and wash away thy sins, calling on the name of the Lord.
In the introduction of the verses of the scriptures above, Ananias was mentioned, not as a prominent person among the disciples, but he was just a Christian.
The first Ananias, that was mentioned in the Bible was the one who lied and died, but this Ananias was a certain disciple. He was able to hear God, with a perfect understanding.
Acts 9:10 KJV
And there was a certain disciple at Damascus, named Ananias; and to him said the Lord in a vision, Ananias. And he said, Behold, I am here, Lord.
The Lord used him to open Paul's blind eyes and baptized him. That was all we heard about him, and he continued his definite Christian life as silent as he had been. Those miracles would have been the beginning of self campaign for some in this dispensation. Much more as Paul became great in the ministry, Ananias might have claimed to be his Daddy in the Lord, as commonly proclaimed in our days.
Now, every Christian in the Apostolic movement was thorough and deliberate in his walk with God, so God could assign anyone for any duty at anytime.
The Christians were highly esteemed by the reason of their consecration to God.
Modernist Christian have no such consecration, they're only known for meanless debates and rebellion all over the socialmedia.
Acts 5:13 KJV
And of the rest durst no man join himself to them: but the people magnified them.
God needs a certain disciple, who will not care to make a name for himself, but to glorify God. Ananias was just a model of any bible Christian, that was why the bible Christians were not running from state to state looking for a miracle crusade, as we do now.
Life application
Be faithful in following God, even if no one sees or recognizes you, God does.

Prayers 🙏🏼: Lord Jesus, make me a genuine child of God. Help me to be a true model of a Christian in Jesus name.
