Acts 20:35 KJV
I have shewed you all things, how that so labouring ye ought to support the weak, and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he said, It is more blessed to give than to receive.
There are lots of words from many people or Pastors addressing many things, but the words of Jesus remains the ultimate standard.
The Apostle emphasized the word of Jesus, on how blessed it is to give than to receive.
Jesus is love personified, and love is giving.
Though a lot of people, by their own understanding, have kicked against giving, especially in the church, it doesn't change the words of Jesus.
As Christians let endeavour to do the will of our master, Jesus. Let's give to the cause of the gospel and to the needy around us. It's rather a mandatory obligation, than an optional decision.
God provides for all flesh, and He has put some people's provision in your care, so give it to them.
Psalm 145:16 KJV
Thou openest thine hand, and satisfiest the desire of every living thing.
