Fresh From God
Topic: Word of GRACE (Apostolic Revival)
Acts 20:32 KJV
And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified.
How have we interpreted the word of grace these days?
The Apostle defined the word of grace with respect to His capabilities.
He says:
The word of God's grace is able to build us up.
The word of God's grace is able to give is inheritance among them that are sanctified.
Titus 2:11-14 KJV
For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, [12] Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; [13] Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; [14] Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.
From this we can see further that grace does the following:
Brings salvation.
Teaches us how to deny ungodliness and worldly lust.
Teaches us to live soberly and righteously in this present world.
Teaches us to set our affections Christ's return and the hope it brings.
Also makes us understand that the purpose of Jesus' death is to purify us unto Himself, a peculiar people zealous of good works.
Jesus is the word of God and He is the word of God's grace.
John 1:14,17 KJV
And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. [17] For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ.
All that Jesus taught is all that grace is teaching us. None of Jesus' teaching condones careless and filthy lifestyle like the modern days grace preachers.
Prayers 🙏🏼: Lord Jesus, help your people to understand your grace, deliver your people from the hands of wolves, and bring swift judgement on the wolves destroying your church.
Remain blessed
