Topic: Take heed (Apostolic Revival)
Acts 20:28 KJV
Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood.
The instruction to "take heed" in this reference is not to be addressed to the Pastors and ministers only, though Apostle Paul was speaking to the elders at Ephesus. We all need to take heed, Jesus said, while speaking with his disciples "Mark 13:37 KJV
And what I say unto you I say unto all, Watch."
That's was still an instruction to take heed.
What are we to take heed about?
Firstly ourselves, we shouldn't live a careless and lawless lifestyle.
Secondly the flock over which the Holy Ghost has placed you. Within and without the church, we have many people looking up to you directly or indirectly, your lifestyle influences them unconsciously, take heed.
If you fail, a generation has failed, take heed.
If you fall for Satan's schemes many might fall with you, take heed.
2 Corinthians 3:2 KJV
Ye are our epistle written in our hearts, known and read of all men:
Our lives are epistles, read by many.
it's dangerous to fall, it's more dangerous to cause others to fall.
God emphasized the sin of Jeroboam through several generations, because he caused many to sin.
Do not gossip, do not turn people's heart against God's anointed, against each other or against God.
Prayers 🙏🏼: Lord Jesus, help me be watchful, make my living more like yours, doing the will of the Father daily.
Remain blessed
