Fresh From God
Topic: Bound in the spirit (Apostolic Revival)
Acts 20:22-23 KJV
And now, behold, I go bound in the spirit unto Jerusalem, not knowing the things that shall befall me there: [23] Save that the Holy Ghost witnesseth in every city, saying that bonds and afflictions abide me.
The Apostles, unlike many modern day believers, gave all to the cause of the gospel.
A major problem facing the modern believers is that, they do not understand persecution as a prerequisite to walking with God.
Acts 14:22 KJV
Confirming the souls of the disciples, and exhorting them to continue in the faith, and that we must through much tribulation enter into the kingdom of God.
We want a bread and butter Christian journey.
The Apostles knew by the Holy Spirit, what was awaiting them in the cities God had led to preach, but they did not refuse.
Many of us haven't really suffered anything close to what they saw.
Hebrews 12:4
Ye have not yet resisted unto blood, striving against sin.
They went through all these and emerged victorious, may we be victorious at last in Jesus' name.
Hebrews 13:13-14 KJV
Let us go forth therefore unto him without the camp, bearing his reproach. [14] For here have we no continuing city, but we seek one to come.
Prayers 🙏🏼: Lord Jesus, make me a true child and minister even in the face of persecution.
Remain blessed
