Fresh From God
Topic: Apostle's stubborn focus (Apostolic Revival)
Acts 21:14-16 KJV
And when he would not be persuaded, we ceased, saying, The will of the Lord be done. [15] And after those days we took up our carriages, and went up to Jerusalem. [16] There went with us also certain of the disciples of Caesarea, and brought with them one Mnason of Cyprus, an old disciple, with whom we should lodge.
The Apostle held on to his determination to do the will of God, irrespective of the counsels of the brethren. It can be very confusing when Christian fellows give you a good counsel that seemingly guarantees your safety, but you're quite sure it's not the will of God. In such cases we need to be certain and stand on the unfailing word of God.
Beware of the advice to take but be careful of those who supply them. The advice might not be sinful, but, yet not godly, because it's not God's will for you.
It might be a super way out for someone else but a snare for you, because it's not God's instruction to you.
If we must do the will of God, we must do it in God's way and not ours.
If you remain focused on the revelation of God to you, soon those who opposed will agree and follow you.
Reflect on all of God's words, instructions and revelations concerning everything you're confused about and decide to stay focused on His clear instructions concerning your life
Prayers 🙏🏼: Lord Jesus, make my heart fixed on you, your word and your promises, never to be moved by human logics in Jesus name.
Remain blessed
