Topic: True Revival II (Apostolic Revival)
Acts 19:21-23 KJV
After these things were ended, Paul purposed in the spirit, when he had passed through Macedonia and Achaia, to go to Jerusalem, saying, After I have been there, I must also see Rome. [22] So he sent into Macedonia two of them that ministered unto him, Timotheus and Erastus; but he himself stayed in Asia for a season. [23] And the same time there arose no small stir about that way.
From our text, we realize that the might revival in Ephesus did not only bring repentance conversion to the living God and confession of Jesus. It also brought up persecution by the satanic agents. If a revival doesn't move Satan, it's not yet a revival. This revival moved a multitude of violent idolatrous Ephesians into action, just like a lot of people are attacking the gospel and genuine preachers in our days, on social media and everywhere, without knowledge.
"Acts 19:32 KJV
Some therefore cried one thing, and some another: for the assembly was confused; and the more part knew not wherefore they were come together."
But God was always in control, they were dismissed and the matter was silenced, God is still silencing the anti-gospel spirits till now.
"Acts 19:41 KJV
And when he had thus spoken, he dismissed the assembly."
The preachers of the gospel weren't hurt, may the Lord preserve you and other every preacher of the true gospel of Christ everywhere you are.
Prayers: Oh Lord my God, silence every tongue you have not ordained and empower every tongue you've ordained for the gospel in Jesus name.
