Topic: Special dedication, special miracles II (Apostolic Revival)
Acts 19:11-12 KJV
And God wrought special miracles by the hands of Paul: [12] So that from his body were brought unto the sick handkerchiefs or aprons, and the diseases departed from them, and the evil spirits went out of them.
"God still does wonders like the days of old, but we are not dedicated to God like the men of old"
As a child, I remember every pastor was indeed anointed and called by God. Pastoral office was not by availability or promotion from the church workforce, it was by God's calling. Then our pastors lived in a room and parlor with their children, and they were satisfied, all their focus was on God and not gold. They were not lobbying for contracts from their rich members, so they were confidently speaking the truth. They've been fattened by the world's riches and emptied of the presence of God, as most Pastors of our age.
They spent the time studying the word of God and praying, so there was a genuine presence of the Holy Spirit and His power in the church.
"Acts 6:4,7 KJV
But we will give ourselves continually to prayer, and to the ministry of the word. [7] And the word of God increased; and the number of the disciples multiplied in Jerusalem greatly; and a great company of the priests were obedient to the faith."
This was the secret of exploits done by the Apostles. Miracles are just ways of God showing men He does exist and to turn to believe on Him, it's not to make a Christian puffed up beyond normal.
God doesn't need the biggest of Bishops, ministers, pastors to prove Himself, He simply need the heart of a dedicated child like you and I.
"John 14:12 KJV
Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father."
Prayers: Oh Lord God, help me to be wholly dedicated to you, use my life for special miracles that will glorify you in Jesus name.
