Herald of maranatha:
Daily Fresh From God
Topic: Times of affliction (Apostolic Revival)
Acts 16:24-25 KJV
Who, having received such a charge, thrust them into the inner prison, and made their feet fast in the stocks. [25] And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God: and the prisoners heard them.
When you're afflicted what do you do?
We can learn from the experience of the Apostles that praying and praising God in the midst of affliction could bring a greater result than expected. Praises offered to God during affliction carries more weight and shows our deep and genuine love and appreciation to God.
Change your activities in times of affliction, switch to praising God.
"Philippians 4:4 KJV
Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice."
It's so sweet to trust in Jesus.
Prayers: Lord Jesus, help me to put my whole trust in you and always rejoice and praise you when blessed or afflicted in Jesus name.
