Herald of maranatha:
Daily Fresh From God
Topic: Confidence of an Evangelist (Apostolic Revival)
Acts 18:9-10 KJV
Then spake the Lord to Paul in the night by a vision, Be not afraid, but speak, and hold not thy peace: [10] For I am with thee, and no man shall set on thee to hurt thee: for I have much people in this city.
Amidst several uproar in that city, God assured the Apostle of his preservation and potential fruitfulness.
As Christians we also get this assurance from God, especially when we stand faithful to the evangelistic calling. Jesus made the promise earlier when he ordered us to GO.
"Matthew 28:20 KJV
Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen."
We have the constant abiding presence of God when we are obedient to His call.
You may wonder why then do we suffer persecution of God is with us?
"John 16:33 KJV
These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world."
The persecution we face are just a "replay" of the victory Jesus won for us, we can't give up until our work here is done, this is the confidence of an Evangelist.
May the Lord help us in responding totally to this great commission.
The Lord has much people in the land where you are, please GO.
Prayers: Lord Jesus, help me to be resolute in delivering the message of the gospel, without discouragement. Make me wise unto soul-winning in Jesus name.
