Herald of maranatha:
Daily Fresh From God
Topic: The command to repent
(Apostolic Revival)
Acts 17:30-31 KJV
And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent: [31] Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men , in that he hath raised him from the dead.
God has overlooked the days of ignorance for all who will follow Him, and He has commanded repentance.
Unlike what we have in many mega churches, the pastor trying to avoid a direct message of repentance, Jesus will never do that. Some attract sinners with some semi-worldly activities and urge them to stay just to have multitude. Such members will then try to buy themselves salvation through several church activities, by becoming very commited to the church.
Jesus wasn't by multitude of people whose salvation is superficial.
"John 8:31-32,59 KJV
Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; [32] And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. [59] Then took they up stones to cast at him: but Jesus hid himself, and went out of the temple, going through the midst of them, and so passed by."
"John 6:64,66 KJV
But there are some of you that believe not. For Jesus knew from the beginning who they were that believed not, and who should betray him. [66] From that time many of his disciples went back, and walked no more with him."
Jesus never patched up unsaved multitude, but He confronted them with the truth.
Pastor what are you preaching?
Members, do you still live in sin?
Are you truly saved by the blood of Jesus and not be the church activities?
Ponder and repent from dead works.
Prayers: Lord Jesus, I repent from every dead work, help me to wise into salvation in Jesus name.
