Herald of maranatha:
Daily Fresh From God
Topic: Setter forth of Christ
(Apostolic Revival)
Acts 17:17-18 KJV
Therefore disputed he in the synagogue with the Jews, and with the devout persons, and in the market daily with them that met with him. [18] Then certain philosophers of the Epicureans, and of the Stoicks, encountered him. And some said, What will this babbler say? other some, He seemeth to be a setter forth of strange gods: because he preached unto them Jesus, and the resurrection.
The Apostle continued in his apostolic mission, introducing Jesus to everyone he met wherever he went.
He spoke about Jesus in Athens where no one had ever heard of Him, then he was called a "setter forth" of strange gods.
What would you be called if you were found where there's no knowledge of Christ at all?
Many seemingly vibrant Christians, had turned to world (satan) again, just because they spent some time in a place where people never feared God nor referenced Christ.
Do not let the community you are determine your faith and your fate.
You can make a difference, by introducing Jesus Christ everywhere you go.
Be a transformer and not a conformer.
Be a setter forth of Jesus Christ.
"Romans 12:2 KJV
And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God."
Prayers: Lord Jesus, help me to be an evangelist, instant in season and out of season in Jesus name.
