Herald of maranatha:
Daily Fresh From God
Topic: My treasure and my heart (Apostolic Revival)
Acts 17:15-16 KJV
And they that conducted Paul brought him unto Athens: and receiving a commandment unto Silas and Timotheus for to come to him with all speed, they departed. [16] Now while Paul waited for them at Athens, his spirit was stirred in him, when he saw the city wholly given to idolatry.
Apostle Paul should, at this time, be under pressure and great fear for his life, because some Jews were after him and the brethren led him secretly to another city.
Amazingly the Apostle wasn't moved by that his mind was rather on preaching the gospel.
This actually confirmed what the Apostle later confessed.
"Acts 20:24 KJV
But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God."
His heart was focused on finishing his course with joy, not on preserving himself from death.
His heart treasured the will of God being done on earth.
Where are your treasures and where is your heart?
On your wife, husband, children, career or finance?
"Matthew 6:21 KJV
For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also."
Prayers: Lord Jesus, help me to treasure your will and to finish my course with joy in Jesus name.
