Herald of maranatha:
Daily Fresh From God
Topic: God of the Evangelist.
Acts 18:14-16 KJV
And when Paul was now about to open his mouth, Gallio said unto the Jews, If it were a matter of wrong or wicked lewdness, m O ye Jews, reason n would that I should bear with you: [15] But if it be a question of words and names, and of your law, look ye to it ; for I will be no judge of such matters . [16] And he drave them from the judgment seat.
From the previous verses Acts 18:12-13 KJV
And when Gallio was the deputy k of Achaia, the Jews made l insurrection with one accord against Paul, and brought him to the judgment seat, [13] Saying, This fellow persuadeth men to worship God contrary to the law.
We see that the Jews brought Paul to Gallio and they accused him, but just has he was about to defend himself probably, God fought for him by making the Judge interrupt him.
"Luke 12:11 KJV
And when they bring you unto the synagogues, and unto magistrates, and powers, take ye no thought how or what thing ye shall answer, or what ye shall say:"
We can see that in the face of persecution, when you are busy for God he will always fight for you. No matter the situation, circumstance or the problems faced on the field of evangelism, the God of the evangelist is mighty. You don't have to defend yourself, he is there to defend and protect you.
The Judge didn't say he will be no judge in the matter they brought to him, he literally chased them out of the judgement seat.
When God fights for us, he does it completely.
If you are there doing. God's work and it seems things are difficult, don't be discouraged he will definitely fight for you.
Prayers: Lord Jesus, help me to be patient in the face of trials and persecution.
Remain blessed
