Topic: Visit the brethren (Apostolic Revival) 

Acts 15:35-36 KJV

Paul also and Barnabas continued in Antioch, teaching and preaching the word of the Lord, with many others also. [36] And some days after Paul said unto Barnabas, Let us go again and visit our brethren in every city where we have preached the word of the Lord, and see 

how they do.

We can see from the text, that the Lord has called us into a continuous work on souls. Apostle Paul and Barnabas continued preaching and they took a break to visit the brethren they had earlier preached to. Preaching without waiting to follow up is like to keep planting without watering. We will only receive reward for the souls that gets to heaven through our witnessing Jesus. So our Lord Jesus Christ made clear to us the purpose of our calling, he said

"John 15:16 KJV

Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you."

it's important that our fruits remain, it's then we can be sure of our reward in heaven.
