Herald of maranatha:
Daily Fresh From God
Topic: The Spirit-led evangelism (Apostolic Revival)
Acts 16:6-8 KJV
Now when they had gone throughout Phrygia and the region of Galatia, and were forbidden of the Holy Ghost to preach the word in Asia, [7] After they were come to Mysia, they assayed to go into Bithynia: but the Spirit suffered them not. [8] And they passing by Mysia came down to Troas.
Despite the earnest desire for a quick spread of the gospel, the Apostles still waited on the Spirit's leading before embarking on a ministerial assignment.
Failure to wait on the Holy Spirit has terminated some ministries untimely. God knows when the field is ripe and ready for harvest, so He leads us.
Some may say the gospel wasn't meant for the people of Asia, that's a lie. Jesus command us to go into the world.
"Acts 19:10 KJV
And this continued by the space of two years; so that all they which dwelt in Asia heard the word of the Lord Jesus, both Jews and Greeks."
We can see that at the right time they heard the word of God.
Let's endeavour to always rely on the Holy Spirit when fulfilling our ministries.
"Philippians 2:13 KJV
For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure."
Prayers: Lord Jesus, help me to depend on you in fulfilling my ministry.
Remain blessed
