Daily Fresh From God
Topic: Recommendations (Apostolic Revival) Acts 16:1-2 KJV
Then came he to Derbe and Lystra: and, behold, a certain disciple was there, named Timotheus, the son of a certain woman, which was a Jewess, and believed; but his father was a Greek: [2] Which was well reported of by the brethren that were at Lystra and Iconium.
By the recommendations of the brethren, Timothy was able to replace John Mark, just as Silas replaced Barnabas.
Recommendation is very important, it can make way for you in your absence.
"Philippians 4:5 KJV
Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand.
Our moderation, righteousness and holiness should not be secret. Some people say their holiness is just in their hearts, they behave anyhow, dress anyhow and disrespect others. If you are holy in your heart, it will reflect in your actions. This was probably the situation with Timothy, he never claimed inward holiness with nothing to show forth in character.
"Philippians 1:27 KJV
Only let your conversation be as it becometh the gospel of Christ: that whether I come and see you, or else be absent, I may hear of your affairs, that ye stand fast in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel;"
Prayers: Lord Jesus make my conversation your gospel at all time in Jesus name.
