Daily Fresh From God
Topic: No physical burden (Apostolic Revival)
Acts 15:10-11 KJV
Now therefore why tempt ye God, to put a yoke upon the neck of the disciples, which neither our fathers nor we were able to bear? [11] But we believe that through the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ we shall be saved, even as they.
The Apostles confirmed the importance of spiritual justification rather than physical circumcision. God gave the ordinance of circumcision as a shadow of the forthcoming need for sanctification (circumcision of the heart).
Just like many people count several physical practices as having spiritual relevance, such as wash your hands before eating, now, that's more of hygiene than holiness.
Now the physical activities that confirms our genuine repentance, are such as emanated from a holy heart, that becomes our consecration to God.
Our burdens are not physical, to follow human culture and traditions, but our burdens are spiritual to obey the word of God totally.
"Matthew 11:28-30 KJV
Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. [29] Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. [30] For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light."
This obedience can then be confirmed by what fruit your life shows, starting from your appearance, disposition, conversation e.t.c
Have a change of burden today, and let your actions begin to glorify God and not human traditions.
Prayers: Lord give me the grace to please you wholly.
Remain blessed
