Daily Fresh From God
Topic: Worship God only (Apostolic Revival)
Acts 14:16-18 KJV
Who in times past suffered all nations to walk in their own ways. [17] Nevertheless he left not himself without witness, in that he did good, and gave us rain from heaven, and fruitful seasons, filling our hearts with food and gladness. [18] And with these sayings scarce restrained they the people, that they had not done sacrifice unto them.
The Apostles were used mightily by God, by many signs and wonders, but in all, they never considered themselves as highly place than other people.
They acknowledged God totally.
"Acts 4:9-10 KJV
If we this day be examined of the good deed done to the impotent man, by what means he is made whole; [10] Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole."
They gave all the glory to God withholding nothing. They refused the worship of men and humbly bowed to God.
Where do we stand today?
Many desire the power of the Holy Spirit so we can ascribe some relevance to ourselves, but Apostles desired it so they can make known the relevance of Christ to all.
It's not about us but about Jesus Christ. Let's stop the worship of men and exalt Jesus only.
Prayers: Father Lord, make me a true disciple, not self-seeking but Christ-seeking in Jesus name.
Remain blessed
