Topic: Tools for revival (Apostolic Revival)
Acts 14:8-10 KJV
And there sat a certain man at Lystra, impotent in his feet, being a cripple from his mother's womb, who never had walked: [9] The same heard Paul speak: who stedfastly beholding him, and perceiving that he had faith to be healed, [10] Said with a loud voice, Stand upright on thy feet. And he leaped and walked.
Have you ever wondered, why there are many sick and impotent all around, or why were some people born that way?
In deep surprise the disciples once asked Jesus the same question. Let's see what Jesus said. "John 9:2-3 KJV
And his disciples asked him, saying, Master, who did sin, this man, or his parents, that he was born blind? [3] Jesus answered, Neither hath this man sinned, nor his parents: but that the works of God should be made manifest in him"
Sin is not always the cause of sickness, some are to manifest the works God. In such cases, they are tools for revival.
If there were no blind people to be healed, how will people know that the power of God can open blind eyes. if they do not know, they can't believe and if they do not believe they can't be saved.
"John 4:48 KJV
Then said Jesus unto him, Except ye see signs and wonders, ye will not believe."
Tools for mighty revivals has been put in place, we only need to make ourselves ready for God's use.
"2 Timothy 2:21 KJV
If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master's use, and prepared unto every good work."
May we be useful in the hands of God in Jesus name.
Additional tools for personal revival, in preparation for general revival, are prayers and the word of God.
Prayers: Father Lord, make me useful for your great revival in my generation in Jesus name.
Remain blessed
