Acts 13:11-12 KJV
And now, behold, the hand of the Lord is upon thee, and thou shalt be blind, not seeing the sun for a season. And immediately there fell on him a mist and a darkness; and he went about seeking some to lead him by the hand. [12] Then the deputy, when he saw what was done, believed, being astonished at the doctrine of the Lord.
The Lord's name has to be glorified in every situation. The greatest miracle before God is the salvation of souls. So God will do just anything for a soul winner on duty.
"Mark 16:15,17 KJV
And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. [17] And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;"
If the blind receives sight, lame walks, lepers cleansed and the poor being fed or made rich without salvation it amounts to nothing.
Jesus testified;
"Luke 7:22 KJV
Then Jesus answering said unto them, Go your way, and tell John what things ye have seen and heard; how that the blind see, the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, to the poor the gospel is preached."
The gospel is of utmost importance.
We can see from our text, that God blinded a man's eyes just because he stood on the way of someone's salvation. That shows that salvation matters than every other miracle. No other miracle causes the heavens to rejoice except salvation of souls.
"Luke 15:7 KJV
I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance."
Do you care to make heavens rejoice?
You can't make heavens rejoice and personally remain in sorrow.
Prayers: Father Lord, may my life bring constant joy to God, by soul winning in Jesus name.
"Heal the sick, raise the dead, feed the poor or make them rich, without salvation, it's of no real benefit to God's kibgdom"(Omoloye A A)
