Topic: Enduring till the end (Apostolic Revival)
Acts 13:13 KJV
Now when Paul and his company loosed from Paphos, they came to Perga in Pamphylia: and John departing from them returned to Jerusalem.
Apostle Paul and Barnabas got a divine appointment by the Holy Spirit, but they took "John Mark" along with them.
"Acts 13:2 KJV
As they ministered to the Lord, and fasted, the Holy Ghost said, Separate me Barnabas and Saul for the work whereunto I have called them."
"Acts 13:5 KJV
And when they were at Salamis, they preached the word of God in the synagogues of the Jews: and they had also John to their minister."
When we obey God's instructions let's do it to detail, some inclusions might bring a future problem.
John's departure from following them, finally caused the separation of Barnabas and Saul.
"Acts 15:37-39 KJV
And Barnabas determined to take with them John, whose surname was Mark. [38] But Paul thought not good to take him with them, who departed from them from Pamphylia, and went not with them to the work. [39] And the contention was so sharp between them, that they departed asunder one from the other: and so Barnabas took Mark, and sailed unto Cyprus;"
That was the end of Barnabas' ministry in the book of Acts, he was replaced by Silas.
May we not end our journey halfway.
Prayers: Father Lord, take away every strange inclusion on my journey that will hinder my ministry in Jesus name.
"Be careful to obey God's instructions to detail, without any inclusions "(Omoloye A A)
