Herald of maranatha:
Daily Fresh From God
Topic: Reaction to oppositions (Apostolic Revival)
Acts 13:45-46 KJV
But when the Jews saw the multitudes, they were filled with envy, and spake against those things which were spoken by Paul, contradicting and blaspheming. [46] Then Paul and Barnabas waxed bold, and said, It was necessary that the word of God should first have been spoken to you: but seeing ye put it from you, and judge yourselves unworthy of everlasting life, lo, we turn to the Gentiles.
Apostle Paul and Barnabas did a great job by reaching this community with the true gospel of Christ, but the reaction was uneven. Some accepted the gospel gladly while others received with indignation.
It's a good thing to see everyone accept you, but how do you react when some people angrily strike at you?
"Luke 6:22 KJV
Blessed are ye, when men shall hate you, and when they shall separate you from their company , and shall reproach you , and cast out your name as evil, for the Son of man's sake."
Apostle Paul and Barnabas waxed stronger and bolder, that's the Spirit of God.
Be consistent with God, and never be discouraged, you'll overcome every fairy dart of the enemies.
Prayers: Father Lord, strengthen me in the face of strange oppositions, make me triumphant in Jesus name.
