Topic: Glorifying the word of the Lord (Apostolic Revival) 

Acts 13:48 KJV

And when the Gentiles heard this, they were glad, and glorified the word of the Lord: and as many as were ordained to eternal life believed.

The word of God remains powerful, and potent, irrespective of how people see it. The word of God has been ridiculed by many so called Christians.

From our text, the gentiles glorified the word of God.

God honours and magnifies His word:

"Psalm 138:2 KJV

I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy lovingkindness and for thy truth: for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name."

You can't love God and disregard what God honours and magnifies. 

Jesus is the word of God, that many have despised.

"John 1:1-4,14 KJV

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. [2] The same was in the beginning with God. [3] All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. [4] In him was life; and the life was the light of men. [14] And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth."

Tremble before the word of God and you will see how God will lift you up.
