Topic: Continue in grace (Apostolic Revival)
Acts 13:42-43 KJV
And when the Jews were gone out of the synagogue, the Gentiles besought that these words might be preached to them the next sabbath. [43] Now when the congregation was broken up, many of the Jews and religious proselytes followed Paul and Barnabas: who, speaking to them, persuaded them to continue in the grace of God.
The gentiles were desiring the gospel and some Jews were filled with indignation while others believed. Apostle Paul urged them to continue in the grace of God.
This is still the situation now, some people are longing to receive the gospel while others are misbehaving under grace. We see people saying once they've confessed Jesus as Lord, any sin they commit is no longer sin, but it's God's righteousness.
Devil's greatest deception for believers is the misunderstanding of grace.
Grace rather enables a man to live victoriously above sin, it teaches holiness. It's freedom from sin, but not freedom for sin.
Many have interpreted grace as freedom to do anything.
"Titus 2:11-13 KJV
For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, [12] Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; [13] Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;"
Grace is a teacher, what are you learning under grace?
Prayers: Father Lord, help me to understand the entire works grace and experience it in my life in Jesus name.
