Daily Fresh from God
Topic: Purpose of revelation (Apostolic Revival)
Acts 10:40-41 KJV
Him God raised up the third day, and shewed him openly; [41] Not to all the people, but unto witnesses chosen before of God, even to us, who did eat and drink with him after he rose from the dead.
From our text today, Apostle Peter was analyzing how they became witnesses to us. Jesus chose them and revealed Himself to them after He rose from the dead.
They witnessed His life, death and life after death.
Jesus separated them for this rare revelation of His life after death and instructed them to be witnesses.
Acts 10:42 KJV
And he commanded us to preach unto the people, and to testify that it is he which was ordained of God to be the Judge of quick and dead.
Apostle Paul, since he had the revelation of Jesus pn his way to Damascus, he became a true witness till death.
Jesus reveals Himself to those who will be His witnesses genuinely.
The purpose of revelation is to bear witness of Jesus to everyone.
Prayers: Oh Lord Jesus Christ, reveal yourself to me and make me a true witness to your saving grace from day to day.
Remain blessed
