Topic: Changing the order (Apostolic Revival)
Acts 10:44-48 KJV
While Peter yet spake these words, the Holy Ghost fell on all them which heard the word. [45] And they of the circumcision which believed were astonished, as many as came with Peter, because that on the Gentiles also was poured out the gift of the Holy Ghost. [46] For they heard them speak with tongues, and magnify God. Then answered Peter, [47] Can any man forbid water, that these should not be baptized, which have received the Holy Ghost as well as we? [48] And he commanded them to be baptized in the name of the Lord. Then prayed they him to tarry certain days.
A reflection on this text will definitely make us see how God doesn't discriminate. Even when Apostle Peter might have avoided praying for them to receive the Holy Ghost baptism, God did it already, so Apostle Peter had no choice than to baptize them by water. We can see God changing the usual order, He gave them the Holy Ghost baptism before water baptism, God is not stereotyped, He does what pleases Him.
May the Lord change orders to favour us in Jesus name.
Prayers: Oh Lord Jesus Christ, help me to find favour in your sight, change orders in my favour.
Remain blessed
