Topic: Put away distractions (Apostolic Revival)
Act 9:40-42
40 But Peter put them all out, and knelt down and prayed. And turning to the body he said, “Tabitha, arise.” And she opened her eyes, and when she saw Peter she sat up. 41 Then he gave her his hand and lifted her up; and when he had called the saints and widows, he presented her alive. 42 And it became known throughout all Joppa, and many believed on the Lord.

What do you do in a perplexed situation? We have to learn to put away distractions and face reality so as to get the desired result. When God beheld the world in chaos, He was not move, He only spoke "Let there be light"
"Gen 1:2-3 2 The earth was without form, and void; and darkness [a]was on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters.
3 Then God said, “Let there be light”; and there was light."
Distractions can make you shake in fear, but
when you put away distractions you become more balanced spiritually, mentally and physically. From our text, immediately Apostle Peter was done with the distractions, he could kneel and pray, then he spoke "Arise" and the dead was brought back to life.
The sympathizers were the distractions in this case, what are your own distractions, hindering you from kneeling in prayers to receive your miracles?
Worries, complaints, anxiety, regrets, heaviness etc. can be your distractions, put them away, kneel and pray, and see the glory of God.
Prayers: Oh Lord Jesus Christ, help me to put away every distraction and totally focus on you. Help me to always look up to you in prayers and get rid of every internal distraction.
