Topic: No partial selection (Apostolic Revival)
Acts 10:19-21
19 While Peter thought about the vision, the Spirit said to him, “Behold, three men are seeking you. 20 Arise therefore, go down and go with them, doubting nothing; for I have sent them.”
21 Then Peter went down to the men [h]who had been sent to him from Cornelius, and said, “Yes, I am he whom you seek. For what reason have you come?”
Apostle Peter had earlier thought salvation was only for the Jews and that the gentiles were not part of God's salvation plan. Just like some people believe now that only some few has been selected to be saved by God and that Jesus died for only these people.
That's not true, that's still the kind of wrong mindset Apostle Peter earlier had.
"John 3:16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life."
The world means "the world"
Do not consider anyone as unselected by God, the gospel is for all, the grace of God is opened to us all.
"Titus 2:11 For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men,"
Do not withhold the word of God from any man!
"Romans 10:12-14 For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord over all is rich to all who call upon Him. 13 For “whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.”
14 How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard?"
Prayers: Oh Lord Jesus Christ, help me to genuinely carry your gospel to the lost world indiscriminately.
