Topic: No competition  (Apostolic Revival)

Acts 9:29-30 KJV

We all should be bold in speaking the word of God.
"Proverbs 28:1 KJV
The wicked flee when no man pursueth: but the righteous are bold as a lion."

Saul was bold and fearless in declaring the lordship of Christ. He was getting stronger, he got more attention and more hatred by some people.

In the midst of all these, when his life was threatened, the other disciples stood by him.

The pilgrim journey is not a competition, so we don't need the downfall of others so as to succeed. Many believers, still envy and jealous, the hand of God on their brethren. instead of rejoicing over Saul's predicaments, they rather helped him out.

"Philippians 2:3 KJV
Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves."
Since we are not in competition in our calling, let's love each other and seek each other's good.
Do not envy your colleagues, your brother or sister when they're being used by God, but glorify God for them.

Prayers: Oh Lord Jesus Christ, uphold our fellowship in you keep us going from strength to strength.
